Dr. McSweeney was born in Cork, Ireland and has lived in New Jersey since 1986 when he started practicing Chiropractic Medicine in the city of Newark. He opened the door to his private practice “Mount Prospect Health Center” in 1989 focusing on family and general chiropractic and then expanding to acupuncture and pain management. His bi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration and participation has led him to many volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles. Dr. McSweeney graduated from undergraduate school at McNeese University in Lake Charles Louisiana and received his chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.  Dr. McSweeney is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, he is a member of both, the New Jersey Chiropractic Society and American Chiropractic Society; he is also a board member of the Mount Prospect Partnership and director of Mayor Quintana’s Health Program

Drashti Pandya, PT Licensed physical Therapist

Born and raised in The Republic of India, I started treating patients since my internship in 2014 at the Civil Hospital (in Ahmedabad) – the largest public hospital in ASIA.

Before graduating in 2014, I completed my residency training at both the Government CL&CS Spine Institute and Paraplegia hospital, Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, and at Surat Civil Hospital and Government Physiotherapy College in Surat, Gujarat.

Following this, I have worked on a wide spectrum of conditions, including orthopedic, sport injuries, neurologic and also special needs patients. I have independently designed and implemented effective pain management and mobility improvement protocols for patients with a variety of conditions such as ACL issues, TKA/HTO/DFO, meniscal problems, PIVD, Cervical and Lumbar spine, overuse injuries, rotator cuff (pre & post-surgical), Achilles tendon repairs, adhesive capsulitis, stroke, paraplegia & spinal cord injuries, Parkinsonism, GBS, Hydrocephalus, TBI, CTEV ,CP, Imbalance & ataxia, Vertigo, Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis, Asthma-COPD, Pre and Postnatal rehabilitation and many more!

Additionally, I am a certified Yog (Yoga), Pilates and Aerobics instructor. I also have experience as a group exercise instructor utilizing different modes of exercise such as stick, ball, band and stepper.

I also strongly believe in Research and Development in Physical Therapy and giving back to the community to the best of my capacity. Being a physical therapist, gives me the opportunity to give back by serving my patients and providing the best care diligently and compassionately. It is my biggest professional satisfaction and boosts my mood and capacity to deliver better services every day!

My favorite way of spending my free time is at home, with my family, especially around my little daughter. I also enjoy listening to music, hiking, trail walking and biking among other activities.
